Arrival at the Cairo Airport

Arrival at the Cairo Airport. Our Africa Exotica Tours representative will be there to meet and assist you through the airport formalities. You will be escorted to your hotel for check in and overnight

DAY 1

Visit Pyramids of Giza and the famous Sphinx

Breakfast at Hotel. Meet your guide at the hotel for departure on a full day's tour of Cairo. You will visit the Memphis & Sakkara following which we will have lunch at one of Cairo restaurants. After lunch, visit Pyramids of Giza and the famous Sphinx. Back to Hotel and overnight.

DAY 2

Full day tour of Cairo

Breakfast at hotel. Meet your guide at the hotel for departure on a full day tour of Cairo. You will visit the Egyptian Museum. Then you will visit The Citadel of Salah Din and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Back to Hotel and overnight.

DAY 3

Visit the National Museum

Breakfast at hotel. Meet your guide, driving through the desert road to Alexandria, 230 KM North of Cairo where you will enjoy a full day visits starts with Pompey’s pillar and The Catacomb of Kom Al Shukafa which is the largest Roman cemetery. After that you will view Fort Qaitbey which has the most visible location in Alexandria, located at the spot of the famous lighthouse of Pharos. After Lunch, you will visit The National Museum then you will enjoy driving by Corniche viewing The Montazah Gardens concluding your day with a visit to Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the major library and cultural center located on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea in the Egyptian city of Alexandria. Early evening, return back to Cairo and overnight.

DAY 4

Depart for Aswan

Check out after Breakfast. Transfer to Cairo Airport to fly to Aswan. You will be escorted to your hotel in Aswan for check in. Then you will enjoy a visit to the Nubian Museum. Back to Hotel and overnight in Aswan.

DAY 5

Fly to Abu Simbel

Breakfast at Hotel. Transfer to Aswan Airport to fly to Abu Simbel, see the impressive Temples built by Ramses II. Return flight to Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.

DAY 6

Felucca Sailing

Check out after Breakfast. Transfer to your 4 nights cruise. Check in before Lunch. Lunch on board. After Lunch you will enjoy a Felucca sailing with visit to Botanical garden and view of the Elephantine Island and Aga Khan Mausoleum. Overnight on board in Aswan.

DAY 7

Visit High Dam and Philae Temple

Early morning after breakfast will visit The High Dam and Philae Temple. Back to cruise. Sail to Kom Ombo during lunch. In Kom Ombo, visit the temples of Sobek and Horus. Relax and admire the beautiful scenery along the Nile while sailing to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.

DAY 8

Visit Temple of Horus in Edfu

Breakfast on board. Take a tour by horse-drawn carriage to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Back on board and sail to Esna to cross Esna Lock. Sail to Luxor. Overnight on board.

DAY 9

Visit the West Bank

Breakfast on board. Visiting the West Bank including the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatchepsut and the 2 Colossi of Memnon. Back to cruise and overnight.

DAY 10

Visits Karnak and Luxor Temples

Disembark after breakfast. Depart for visits to the Karnak and Luxor Temples. Transfer to your hotel in Luxor. Spend the afternoon at leisure to explore Luxor on your own. Overnight in Luxor.

DAY 11

Visit Old Cairo

Check out after breakfast. Transfer to Luxor Airport to fly to Cairo. Meet by our representative, transfer to your hotel in Cairo. After check in, will start a tour at Old Cairo, visiting the Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church that was built on top of the cave that the Holy Family used as a shelter on their flight to Egypt escaping from King Herod, continue to the Ben Azra Synagogue. After that you will visit Khan El Khalili, the oldest bazaar in Cairo, where you can shop for souvenirs. Back to Hotel for overnight.

DAY 12
